The heart of this biblical study tour is to take an in-depth dive into the Biblical text in its original locations and cultures. As we explore beautiful Turkey, and the city of Rome, we will walk the land of Paul, John, and the early Christians from the first century church to discover how the gospel spread in a Greco-Roman world that is strikingly similar to our own. No period in church history has been more like today than the setting of the first century church. They faced challenges that are stunningly similar to what we are currently engaging. Space is limited so registration is first come, first serve.

If you have always wanted to go on the Israel Study Tour but been held back due to the physical difficulty level, this is your chance! While maintaining a very similar itinerary and still learning with our feet, we will explore at a much more manageable pace. The heart of this biblical study tour is to take an in-depth dive into the Biblical text in its original locations and cultures. The Bible will come to life and penetrate and transform our hearts as we walk the ancient paths. This study tour is open to anyone.

Contemplative greece

Imagine you were given solitude and time to read the sacred text in the ancient context. Then you were gather with others, reflect on God’s word, and pray over each one another’s lives. Now imagine that occurred day after day through the whole land of Greece. You then board a ship and journey to Ephesus to find God in the ancient city; then you hike in the glory of Santorini, Mykonos and Patmos (the island where John received Revelation). 

Join me as we slow down, walk the text and experience this sacred pilgrimage together.
